OUR HERITAGE
A Legacy of Trust
Established in 1965, Security Papers Limited (SPL) is Pakistan’s security paper manufacturer, a historic joint venture between Pakistan, Iran, and Turkey under the RCD/ECO framework. It was converted into a Public Limited Company in the same year with the vision to be recognized as a security paper manufacturing organization delivering high-quality paper with advanced security features.
SPL has been classified as a Category 1A (KPID) Key Point Installation due to the strategic nature of its operations.
SPL is in the business of manufacturing security featured papers for banknotes and other security papers. The Company was formed under an International Tri-Partite Executive Agreement between the sovereign Governments of Pakistan, Iran and Turkiye under the Regional Corporation Development (RCD) framework at that time. SPL was then converted into a Public Listed Company and was quoted on Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in 1967.
SPL has been classified as a category 1A Key Point Intelligence Division by Government of Pakistan (KPID) due to the strategic nature of its operations
